BMW finally launch its seventh generation car in India with three powertrain options i7 xDrive 60 EV which is priced at 1.95 crore Indian rupees, 740i M sport a petrol variant which is 1.70 crore Indian rupees(ex-showroom price), and a diesel model will be launched soon in India with same silhouette structure.

Let us talk about the exterior design, BMW 7 gen series has a kidney grille and bold modern design it is inspired by its sibling BMW 303 , with a crystal headlamp with LED daytime running light on top & a main headlamp cluster below, flush window & door handle (no offer flush fitting door handle ), 21″ aerodynamic wheel, with a new design alloy wheel and sleek led taillight at the back.

Let’s talk about the technical specification of the BMW 740 i M sport petrol model, it comes with a 3.0Litre of petrol engine which provides 376BHP of horsepower, 250km/h of top speed, and 520Nm of peak torque, when the engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission car can cover 0-100km/h in 5.3 seconds.

In terms of battery charging concern, BMW offers 3 ways to charge i7 XDrive 60, first, use a standard 11kw AC charger that required 10.5hours to get fully charged, second, 22kw of ac charge that topped up in 5 hours and last, it fas 195 kW DC charger that topped up it in just 10 minutes offer 170km of top range.
