Ahmedabad-based EV charger Tirex to set up an EV charging station in Kerala.

EV charger manufacturer equipped has partnership with Kerala electricity board to establish 29 EV charging stations over the state and also all EV charger has a facility of both AC and C charging.
Tirex charger is India’s largest EV charging network and original Equipment manufacturer(OEM) based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
The company tied up with Kerala State Electricity Board Limited(KSEBL) to install a chain of EV chargers over the state.
Under the partnership with KSEBL, the Tirex EV charger will install 29 EV charging stations in Kerala and each quipped with multiple charging points with the facility of both AC and DC charging.
The Tirex charger has the highest efficiency in the market which cost cost-effective and also charges vehicles very quickly. The Tirex aim is to provide a safe and secure supply of energy for battery charging.
Currently, 56 electric chargers stations are being set up in Kerala said by electricity minster k Krishnankutty.
Co-founder, and CEO, of Tirex Chargers, said Arth Patel, “The EV charging stations we are establishing in Kerala are comparable to fuel pump stations in terms of size. Average EV charging stations usually provide just one or two charging points for charging four-wheelers only, inconveniencing users and leading to long queues. Our charging stations will be the first in India to offer multiple charging points for four-wheelers as well as two-wheelers and even heavy EVs. There will be a total of 200 EV charging points in the 29 stations,”
The Tirex charger won the contract to establish the 29 EV charging stations and also In Kerala has around 7,850 electric vehicles as per the data of the Motor vehicles department.
Tirex has intended to set up 200 EV charging points in the 29 stations over the state, now 12 charges were already installed out of 29 EV chargers as per the official report.
“Government of Kerala after inaugurating earlier this week, Industries minister said P Rajeev, “This partnership with Tirex for setting up charging stations in Kerala is part of our plans to make Kerala an EV-friendly state. As more and more people shift to electric vehicles, we will be able to reduce vehicular pollution levels in our state,”
The Tirex EV chargers are inaugurated by KSEBL chairman and managing director Dr. B Ashok & KSEBL directer R Suku and V Murugandas.
