Audi’s rugged 4WD luxury electric is not the Mercedes Benz G-Class or Land Rover Defender, It is a new pilot project from Audi.
German automaker, Audi showcased its new rugged Activesphere concept on Thursday, this is a fully off-road electric car that gives a feel like an electric pickup truck, this concept is mixer of luxury SUV, sport SUV, and off-roading pickup truck.
Today, Audi shows its interest in the 4X4 (4WD) luxury segment, this rugged electric SUV comes with top-notch interiors with the ability to offer the best in performance.
In an interview with Autocar, Marc Lichte, head designer, Audi dropped a hint of 4X4 electric, he said that the rugged Activesphere concept wouldn’t replace an existing car, but hinted that it is quite inspiring for a 4X4 flavored version of an electric replacement for the A6 Saloon and rakish Audi A7 Sportback.
