Gogoro takes the third step and successfully registers two electric scooters Gogoro 2 & Gogoro 2 plus offering 94 km of top range.
Today we talk about the Taiwan-based two-wheeler automaker Gogoro, this company is the world’s largest advanced battery-swapping system provider that required only 6 seconds to recharge.
Today, Gogoro get approval for its two electric scooters Gogoro 2 & Gogoro 2 plus from CIRT (Central Institute of Road Transport ), on its India website, Gogoro also shows the supersport model which will launch later.
This is the Gogoro 3rd step of its 6s battery swapping system (pilot project), in step 1 Gogoro partnership with Zypp electric to build battery swapping network last year, in January Gogoro partnership metalman Auto to build an electric scooter in India, at that time Gogoro clue it will launch two electric scooters in India, now Saturday Gogoro get CIRT approval for its electric scooter.

Gogoro to launch Gogoro 2 & Gogoro 2 Plus
Gogoro 2 & Gogoro 2 plus will have similar architecture but have specs, in both scooter you get 1,890mm of length, 670mm width, and 1,110mm height, also you get 1,295 mm of wheelbase to do mini off-roading.
In terms of technical specs Gogoro offers a lithium-ion battery pack with smart BMS it is IP67 Rated means it is dustproof & waterproof, In both models get an 87km/h top speed but plus model generates a slightly lower power output of 6.4kw while Gogoro 2 produce 7.2kw of power output overall both scooters have the same architecture.
