Hero Motorcrop to launch its electric scooter in march, India.
Hero Motorcrop started rolling out its first electric scooter in March 2022, India said Niranjan Gupta, CFO of the company, and hero Motorcorp also planning to launch its wide range of premium products.
Hero Motorcrop also has a partnership with Taiwan-based Gogoro company for battery swapping technology according to the Government policy all two or three vehicles should have a detachable battery system so that it is easier for users to use EV easily.
Gogoro is Taiwan based company that develops battery swapping refueling platforms for electric two scooters and motorcycles.
“That is the endeavor that we will have to actually straddle across the segments and accordingly obviously saddle across the geographies as well. Now what pace, what speed, what scale-up that is something that we will share closer to the time,” he said.
The company started rolling out its manufacturing electric vehicles facility in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh called as Garden Factory. The Herocrop reported 12.27lakh unit scales last quarter.
Speaking about brand planning, the brand planning to launch more and more products in upcoming years.
