Thursday, Kia Teases new EV9 All-Electric SUV with a max range of 540Km on a single charge: Should beat Rivian R1S With AWD.
Kia corporation, commonly known as Kia, is a South Korean automobile manufacturer, Korea’s second-largest automobile manufacturer has recently shared images of its upcoming electric SUV which was inspired by its EV6 variant. This EV9 is Kia’s second electric SUV which is dedicatedly based on an electric platform.

On August 25, Thursday Kia unveiled its upcoming electric SUV “EV9” which undergoes the final technical testing phase and will start rolling out in the next year 2023.
With this Kia also launches its electric SUV EV6 on January 1, 2022, which is a small variant, and has a cover range of 310 miles on a single charge but the EV9 will give a better experience in terms of range, performance, and build quality also.
In January Kia announced that they will launch 11 new all-electric vehicles in 2026, EV9 is the one for the 11 ones, which is based on the E-GPH platform.
Many of the customers of Kia are happy with EV6 with its interior, features, performance, and advanced charging technology all thanks to Hyundai motors 800 E-GPH platforms, Kia’s parent company.
At automobility, Los angles auto show, Kia and Hyundai Groups also reveal several concepts of EV that are based on the E-GMP platform, including the EV9 model and all its upcoming electric vehicles, which also come under the E-GMP platform said KIA.

Kia released EV9 images with specs

This EV9 electric SUV was tested at Kia global Namyang R&D center in South Korea. This EV9 model was developed with an advanced electric platform Global modular platform “E-GMPH”, this is a new era in sophisticated, high-tech, and sustainable mobility.
Kia also aims to generate sales of 807,000 units of its electric SUV EV9, and EV6 by 2026 and achieved the 1.2 million target by 2030.
