Kinetic Engineering Limited(KEL), Kinetic Luna returns in all new electric avatars, the kinetic group is plan to start production next year by 2023 in the first quarter, investing Rs. 3 crores in the upgradation of its paint and fabrication shop.
Kinetic Luna was launched in 1972 and embedded with a 50CC of single-cylinder air-cooled engine, it was marketed in the US with the name LUNA TFR, its original version was a licensed copy of Piaggio ciao mopes, and kinetic stopped production in the 2000s.
Kinetic “luna” will be launched by its sister company kinetic green energy, KEL has started production of luna chassis & assemblies, and some parts like the main stand, side stand, and swingarm are ready, they will be manufactured & assemble at the vast factory in Ahmednagar.
kinetic also invest Rs. 3 crores in the upgradation of its paint shop and fabrication unit, also involving 30 welding machines for the production of luna.
the company also set up a production line with an initial capacity of 5,000 units per month, KEL will start production in the first quarter of the next year 2023 as per the economictimes report.
