NEWS: Tesla Raises Model Y Price In Turkiye as per the TSLACHAN post.
Exciting news for 2023! 🎉 Tesla is introducing a new base Model Y with a range of 279 miles. The Model Y lineup will see some changes, but keep an eye out for more updates throughout the year.
🚗 EV Performance: The Standard Range rear-wheel drive trim is gone, but no worries, because the Long Range and Performance models are here to shine. The Long Range zips from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds, and the Performance model does it even quicker in 3.6 seconds. However, the Model 3 still holds the crown for driving satisfaction due to its lower center of gravity.
🔋 Range and Charging: The Long Range offers an impressive 330 miles of range, while the Performance model comes in at 303 miles. The new base model has a range of 279 miles. Plus, the Performance model packs some extra speed and a track mode for those who crave excitement.
🌿 Fuel Efficiency: The Long Range model has an estimated fuel economy of 127 MPGe in the city and 117 MPGe on the highway, while the Performance model clocks in at 115 MPGe city and 106 MPGe highway. Real-world results may vary.
🏠 Interior and Comfort: The Model Y inherits a lot from the Model 3, with a minimalist interior and a spacious feel thanks to an all-glass roof. Just remember, the optional third-row seats might not be the most comfortable for adults.
📲 Infotainment: Everything is managed through a big infotainment display. You’ll find entertainment like Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, and games to keep you entertained while waiting for a charge. Safety first, though – these features are disabled when driving.
🚦 Safety: Tesla’s Autopilot comes standard in the Model Y, and there are even more advanced features available. Check out the safety ratings from NHTSA and IIHS for more details.
🔧 Warranty: The Model Y comes with a warranty similar to other Tesla models, offering four years or 50,000 miles of bumper-to-bumper coverage and eight years or 100,000 miles for the battery and electric motors. No complimentary scheduled maintenance, though.
