CATL announced a new 100GWH battery cell plant in Hungary, its second in Europe
CATL Chinese largest battery manufacturer, has announced gaint new battery plant in Europe, reveal on Friday with the aim to supply automakers like Mercedes-Benz and BMW.
CTAL to build a 100GWH battery cell plant in Debrecen of east Hungary would invest €7.34 billion euros (~$7.4 billion USD), it is the second battery plant in Europe from CATL.
East Hungary Plant will join CATL Munich Germany facility soon, as per the TeslaRati report.
Hungary battery plant will cover around 221 hectares(~ 546.103 acres) in Southern Industrial park, Debrecen, which is 48 hectares more compared to its first plant.
