Tata Motor is To Operate 1500 Electric Buses In Delhi, with 730 E-Buses Running On Indian Roads as per the media report.

Tata motors limited (TML) Starbus EV is an indigenously develop 12-meter electric which has an aggressive look with best-in-class features, is more eco-friendly, and is comfortable to commute.

TML announced that the Delhi transport corporation(DTC) has signed an agreement for 1500 electric tata startbus with a full subsidiary, this is the DTC’s largest order of electric buses till now.

The agreement covers the supply, operation, and maintenance of 1,500 low-floor, 12-meter air-conditioned tata electric starbus, and the 1,500 tata electric buses will be run on the new Delhi road for a period of 12 years.

Till now, TML already supplies more than 730 electric buses across India in different states which have cumulatively clocked more than 55 million kilometers with uptime of over 95%.

TML also signed as same agreement with Bengaluru metropolitan transport corporation(BMTC) for operating a 921 electric star bus in Bengaluru announced a few months ago.
