Tata Punch EV in the works; likely to be showcased at Auto Expo 2023, tata confirms that punch electric avatars will be launched soon in India by 2023 with some minor changes in styling.
Tata has officially revealed that the punch EV electric prototype will be launched in India soon with sam silhouette structure with minor changes could be done in the exterior, Tata does not reveal the exact date of launch but as per the media report, tata could launch punch EV in the third quarter of next year.
Punch EV will be Tata’s fourth model in the EV segment, it also takes position between tata Nexon EV and Tiago EV.
In terms of technical detail, tata dropped that punch will be based on the ALFA platform which it shared in the ALtroz car, also said that tata’s upcoming vehicles will use the same architecture and be powered by Ziptron technology that tata uses in the Tata Tiago EV, it also planning to offer multiple battery options in it.
In terms of features punch EV will have some features like automatic climate control, a semi-digital instrument cluster, regenerative braking, a 7-inch infotainment system, and more than 45+ connecting features that will be an add-on to the punch electric.
In terms of range, tata punch will have an estimated range between 250km to 300km.
When talking about the price, punch EV will have a price range between 8lakh to 11/12lakh as per the media report.

In terms of the range, nano is basically for intracity not for long-route, so tata nano should have 200km of range on a single charge.
