TA(Travelcenters of America) will buy 1,000 DCFC chargers to Electrify America set up at 200 locations along the major highways over 5 years announced today, till now Electrify America has set up the largest open DC fast charger network in the United state.
Today, Travel Centers of America Inc. announced its agreement with Electrify America in order to set up the DCFC(Direct current fast charger) at TA/Petro Locations with the first station planned to be deployed in 2023, this charging network can charge upto 350Kw of vehicle, also some fast charger for commercial vehicles, the motive of TA to give customer confidence to travel for long distance easily without worry but the battery discharger or charging stations.
The company target to set up 1,000 individual chargers at 200 location across the major highways to meet growing EV demand. for this Electrify America(EA) will maintain and install charging stations at TA/Petrol stations, EA will responsible for designing and developing the charging network and EA will provide warranty and 24/7 support services and on-site maintenance. TA will offer customers Electrify America App to access and pay charging through the EA app.

Electrify America is an electric vehicle DC fast charging station network in the United States, with more than 788 charging locations and over 3,531 individual charging units as of September 2022.
