Zeekr sees cumulative deliveries exceed 150,000 units

Zeekr, the premium electric vehicle (EV) subsidiary of Geely Holding Group, has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing 150,000 cumulative vehicle deliveries. This achievement comes approximately two years after the brand’s first vehicle delivery.
Zeekr proudly announced this milestone on Weibo, highlighting a notable fact: it is the only brand in the world that has not experienced any vehicle fires.
To put this accomplishment in perspective, Zeekr has delivered over 5,077 vehicles in the current month alone, with cumulative deliveries reaching 144,923 by the end of August, as reported by CnEVPost.
In 2023 so far, Zeekr has delivered more than 72,052 vehicles, surpassing its total deliveries for the entire previous year, which stood at 71,941 vehicles. Zeekr has ambitious plans to double its deliveries this year, aiming for approximately 140,000 vehicles in total.
Zeekr officially emerged as an independent company in March 2021 and currently offers three models: the Zeekr 001 shooting brake, Zeekr X SUV, and Zeekr 009 MPV.
Zeekr 001 was introduced on April 15, 2021, with deliveries commencing in October 2021. The Zeekr 009 was unveiled on November 1, 2022, and deliveries began on January 15. The Zeekr X was launched on April 12, with deliveries commencing on June 12.
Between September 1 and September 10, there were 2,900 insurance registrations for Zeekr vehicles in China, as shared by Li Auto. Additionally, on August 11, Zeekr announced discounts of up to RMB 37,000 for customers purchasing a Zeekr 001 during the year.
On September 1, Zeekr unveiled its latest offering, the Zeekr 001 FR, an electric supercar, and started accepting reservations. The Zeekr 001 FR is expected to be priced at over RMB 1 million, with deliveries starting in October 2023 at a limited production rate of 99 units per month.
