Tesla Launches Its First Showroom in India: Inauguration by Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis
Jai Jagannath, friends! Today marks a historic day as Tesla officially opens its first showroom and experience center in India, located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The center was inaugurated by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, along with Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik.
A Premium Experience | Tesla Model Y India
As part of the event, CM Devendra Fadnavis sat inside the Tesla Model Y and experienced its premium features, calling it a major step forward for the state and the country. He said that Tesla choosing Mumbai and Maharashtra as their entry point into India shows the state’s importance in the EV revolution.
What the Experience Center Offers
The new Tesla Experience Center will not only showcase the vehicles but will also serve multiple purposes:

- Customer test drives
- Logistics operations
- After-sales service
Transport Minister’s Statement
Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik also test drove the Model Y and shared his thoughts, stating, “This is a proud moment for Maharashtra—Tesla, one of the smartest car companies, has officially started operations in India.”
